WORCESTER HUNGER INITIATIVES
Worcester Hunger InitiativesMayor Joe O’Brien and Superintendent Dr. Melinda Boone join to support Worcester Hunger Initiatives. The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts announced the awarding of a $354,375 grant to reduce hunger and improve access to nutritious foods in Worcester.

MEDIA RELEASE REGARDING LEVEL 4 SCHOOLS
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education today released its initial list of 35 Level 4 schools in the Commonwealth.  Worcester Public Schools has two schools on that list.

Our Focus Statement

A school-wide coordinated effort to have all Burncoat Preparatory Elementary students show measurable growth in their ability to make their thinking and reasoning evident by writing competently across the curriculum. This will be accomplished through the implementation of a common school-wide writing program and measured by the MCAS and school–wide writing
assessments.
